About Us

Silly Goose Kids was founded in 2013. It’s now owned and operated by two cousins, Rebecca and Ti-Anna, who grew up together.

As kids, Ti-Anna always had interest in business and had various hustles that she often dragged Rebecca into. In this photo, Rebecca is helping with the baking business that Ti-Anna started when she was 12. We always dreamed of starting a business together, but life took us in different directions. Ti-Anna became a lawyer, and Rebecca went into design and real estate. Then we both had kids and life got even busier.

When the opportunity to own Silly Goose Kids came up, we both thought that it would be an incredibly fun and meaningful opportunity to finally work together, and breathe new life into a store that’s so beloved by the neighbourhood. So in the spring of 2025, we took a leap of faith and became co-owners of Silly Goose Kids.

As parents, we’re inspired by our children’s interests and play patterns. We choose toys we know they’d love, things that spark joy, creativity, and connection. We also want the store to be a warm, welcoming space, and look forward to hosting lots of family friendly events.
